Jennifer Shaw, MD

​

Dr. Jennifer Shaw is the Department Chair of Women and Infant Services at Banner Ironwood. Some would call this the OB/GYN department. Her responsibilities for the department to have the greatest outcome extends past the women and pregnant women to the babies born in the Queen Creek area.

 

Jennifer Shaw, MD considers herself an "east coaster" at heart, and after several years in Arizona she is really appreciating never shoveling snow off her car. She has become an Arizona Cardinals fan, and can’t quite get into baseball.  Dr. Shaw moved to Arizona following her residency which she completed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  She attended undergraduate and medical school in Virginia.  As an avid birdwatcher she really enjoys being outdoors with her husband and children during the winter months and gardening at all times of the year.  Dr. Shaw enjoys working in women's healthcare and the challenges and rewards that accompany taking care of women today.
