Alyssa Yeager, WHNP

Since entering into the world of nursing, Alyssa knew her passion was women's health. Originally from Indiana, she attended Indiana University and graduated with a B.S. in Biology. After graduating, she decided nursing was the best path to pursue her interest for healthcare and desire to reduce the health disparities women face. She attended Montgomery College in Maryland and graduated with her ASN. She then went on and attended Vanderbilt University in Tennessee for her MSN-WHNP degree while working as a staff nurse on cardiac and surgical floors. Shortly after graduating, she become board certified. She believes knowledge is power, so patient teaching is important to her.

In her free time, she loves to spend time with her husband and daughter, run, and do CrossFiit. She has 1 dog, a shiba inu named Kylo. Moving to Arizona from Indiana was no brainer for her and her family. She is excited to escape the cold and enjoy Arizona's warm weather and all its outdoor activities. She is also excited about starting her career with MomDoc!
